And remember, quality beats price; picking the cheapest tool without knowing it inside out isn’t smart. It’s on you to dig deep into it!

The one thing we all know about AI.

While we know AI tools can be biased, especially in recruitment, Patrik points out they’re consistent and can be trained, unlike human biases, which are unpredictable. AI’s power lies in exposing human biases and giving us valuable insights. 

Patrik suggests an eye-opening exercise: compare your candidate picks with AI’s choices during screening. It’ll make you think about why you chose one over the other, revealing AI’s decision process, and perhaps your own too. 

No more admin tasks, more human interaction.

Patrik dreams of cutting out admin tasks completely in the next five years, thanks to AI, giving recruiters more time for what they’re best: human interaction. By having meaningful chats with candidates and understanding hiring managers’ needs, recruiters can truly shine. 

Change is inevitable so you better embrace it!

Recruitment’s changing, so we’ve got to adapt to new tech and what candidates want. Simplifying applying for jobs is the way to go. Recruiters should consider shaking up the traditional CVs and cover letters, exploring fresh ways to assess candidates, and updating processes to align with the modern approach.
